Aheesh Chandrakant Hegde

Aheesh Chandrakant Hegde is a Doctoral Researcher at Astrocent under the supervision of prof. Marcin Kuźniak and dr. Andre Cortez. He works in detector physics and R&D for HEP and astroparticle physics experiments. Gained experience in GEANT4 detector simulations, cryogenic testing for DarkSide-20k, and data analysis using CERN-ROOT.

Aheesh has also been a member of NEMESIS and other collaborations. His master’s work was upon the simulation, design and fabrication of THGEM based imaging setup. A triple-GEM-related study was part of the findings to observe anomalous behavior of the detector.
