Sarthak Choudhary is a doctoral researcher in the Photonics for Particle Astrophysics and Sustainable Energy group. He studies optical properties of wavelength shifters and SiPM detectors to be used in dark matter detectors.
Sarthak worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore where he studied X-ray emission from solar flares. At UR Rao Satellite Centre of Indian Space Research Organization, research group developed and tested ultra thin multi-coated mirrors for future soft X-ray telescopes.
